About two weeks ago I decided I needed to schedule new work hours. Normally I work throughout the day getting a little bit done at a time. Several causes for unproductive work days were distractions, distractions and more distractions. The only time I would be free of distractions was in my sleep. But since I don’t actually work in my sleep-only dream about working-sleep hours don’t count as work.
I decided I needed to get up before the rest of the family because I can get more work done when the house is quiet and my mind is fresh. The most difficult part of all this is that I have to get up out of bed so early. I don’t like getting up out of bed in the morning but once I am up I love the morning hours.
I have been working on my new site HerProBlog.COM like a crazy women so I really needed to set productive work ours.

Hi Mona,
Your new work hours are a great way to have more focus and be productive. I also find that having a list as a starting point is a great idea to plan your day.

Good for you! Setting priorities and making a schdule are great ways to get more done in less time, and still have time for your family. I work at night when my son goes to bed, because try as I might, I just can’t get up earlier than he does.

@ Gaida - a list a great way to get things done.
@ Marilyn - Thankfully my kids don’t get up very early. I am not normally a morning person but I am training myself to be one. :o)
