I have been involved in a woman’s bible study at a local church. The study is on trusting God. We are reading a book called Trusting God (even when life hurts) by Jerry Bridges. I think this is the best study I have ever been involved in. I am learning so much about God’s sovereignty and my need to trust Him even when I don’t understand.
I never really thought I was not trusting God. But now I realize there are a lot of areas I didn’t allow Him to be in control of. God is in control of everything. He is not surprised by things in our lives or things happening in our universe. He is in complete control. He is also in control of the events that seem to have no reason or purpose. I am not yet finished with the book so there is probably a lot more I will learn. I am excited about learning more about God and His love for me.

I am excited to start studying the book. I am ready and needing to start the book. Julie mentioned that you were interested in joining us in the study and I think it would be great to have you along. Now that I am learning to prioritize my time better, I will make time for this study.
