I used to blog a lot more when I was taking offers at PayPerPost on a daily basis. But my blogging wasn’t what I would call all that interesting. My non-paid blogging posts where just there because it was required. Hey, I am being honest here. I needed the money and I wasn’t a devoted blogger.
Now that I have a few blogs that I am really proud of, I am trying to be more thoughtful about my posting. I don’t want to just slap together posts. I spend a lot of time during the day thinking about what I could blog about. It is acutally becoming an automatic response to much of my day. “Hey! I should blog about that”. Those that have been blogging for a while, I think know what I mean.
So now that I am “thoughtfully blogging” I sift through my thoughts and try and find some interesting things to write about. Most of my day is pretty boring and I am sure no one really wants to hear about what I had for lunch today (I think that is a title of a book).
On the other hand there are times I just don’t have enough time to write about the “good stuff”. Like most moms, I have too many thoughts. This blogging thing is my night job now. Like I posted about earlier I don’t get to my online work until after 5pm. Sometimes this may mean I don’t get on until 8 or 9 o’clock. So I only get a few hours of work in at night.
There are many bloggers that are able to blog everyday even though they have jobs, kids, and other responsiblities. I don’t exactly understand how they do this. I am not just talking about personal blogs but also tech blogs, business blogs and so on. How exactly do they do this? I am so busy as it is and can hardly find enough time to blog twice a week on each blog. Some people blog 3 or more times a day.
I must say that some of the posts on a 3 a day posting blog aren’t really all that interesting. I feel that sometimes some blogs would be better off if they omitted some of the rambling type posts. I am not really speaking of personal blogs because as you can see from this post rambling occurs regularly. But there are some niche blogs that have rambling type posts that don’t complement the blog at all.
So my question to myself and anyone else interested in answer is, “is it really that important to blog everyday just for the sake of blogging or is it better to have thoughtful posts with a few days in between?”
I do realize that the more I post the more likely my blog will be seen but I still don’t think I want to post “bla, bla, bla” posts just for better page rank.

I think either way is okay, daily, once a week, twice a week, whatever you have time for. After all, it’s your blog and your thoughts. Your time is valuable and you should use it in the best way you can use it!
I find myself going in spurts, sometimes there are just so many ideas swimming in my head if I don’t write them down I will explode.

Thanks for you input. I think I just have to do the best that I can, huh? I know the feeling of exploding heads. I get the same way
